SENIOR ADULT BIBLE STUDY – Gospel of John

In our study of John’s gospel, we are taking a journey through the life of Jesus. John offers perhaps the clearest reason why the Holy Spirit has given us these inspired writings: “…these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31).  We’ll apply our Savior’s teachings to our own lives throughout the study. The class is taught by Staff Minister Hering in the Church Office Classroom on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. This session runs April 30th – May 21st.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY – Romans

A Bible study on Tuesday evenings meets from 7:00 to 8:00pm in the church office classroom which is located in the white building.  Bring your point of view because you will be able to give it during our discussions.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH TOOL

From your Spiritual Growth Committee:  Did you see it in your church box? The SPIRITUAL GROWTH PLAN. Prayerfully consider ways to grow in your connection with your gracious God. The plan’s purpose is simple, yet most important, to help us focus on the most important things in life, especially on our relationship with Jesus, with a special emphasis on worshipping together in church!

From the Board of Stewardship

Serving others is a large part of our lives. Serve our  boss, serve our parents, serve our children, serve our spouse, serve our co-workers, serve a stranger in need, serve in a volunteer organization…May God help you to find joy in your service, especially as you focus on “…Jesus…who for the joy set before Him served us by enduring the cross…” (Hebrews 12:2). Prayer:  Lord, thank you for serving me through your perfect life and innocent death. Fill me with joy in serving others.  Amen.

OUR SAVIOR MUSIC RECITAL

The recital will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:30 pm.  Everyone is invited to come for this evening of family entertainment with performances by our young musicians.

“SPUR ON” CONFERENCE AT KML

Attention all women, young women, and girls! Holy Hen House is currently planning our first 1-day “Spur On” Conference for girls and women to launch on mission with Jesus.

SAVE THE DATE – Saturday, June 22nd  Our goal is to bring girls and women together with the message that our faith and lives are purposeful even now! Together we can impact generations in the Word. Our value is not found in the approval of others or in being desired. Whether we are single, married, or mothers we have influence right where God has planted us. If we aren’t intentional in nurturing the relationships of sisterhood then it won’t happen. We all are one in mission. Let’s be the change!  Girls (10+) and women are invited to come enjoy a day filled with purpose, sisterhood, faith encouragement, a charity benefit, live music, lunch, laughs, a Q+A panel, and most of all – the confidence to walk the talk with Jesus in our stride.   And, of course, invite girls and women that you’d like to bring along!  For more information and to purchase tickets go to  https://www.holyhenhouse.com.
