Fun and flexible position available with David’s Star Lutheran Grade School’s After School Child Care Program. There is one position available for the 2018-2019 school year. Position would be for the lead person during our Afterschool Childcare, Hours are 3:15-6:00, when school is in session. Pay: $10 per hour. Our after school child care program exists to care for our school children who need to remain after school for parent pick-up. Staff helps with homework when needed, and supervises play and activities. Hours and days are flexible. Riso Quartet returns for Grace’s First Fridays at Five concert series! On Friday, Sept. 1 at 5 p.m., enjoy two lovely Slavic pieces for piano quartet by this group of classically trained string and piano musicians. Concert will take place at Grace Lutheran Church (1209 N. Broadway Ave., Milwaukee) and is free and open to the public. Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary’s Friends of the Seminary Day on Saturday, October 7, 2017. This annual event highlights the way your gifts help WLS support the worldwide mission of WELS. Registration and coffee hour begins at 8 a.m. in the auditorium. Worship with members of the Seminary Chorus begins at 9 a.m. After worship, attendees will hear from our new professor, Sam Degner, and senior Noah Willitz.

A light lunch, included in the $10 registration fee, will be served at noon. Guided tours of the campus will follow. Northwestern Publishing House will also have a selection of books and gift items available for purchase.
