From the Board of Stewardship
We enjoy many wonderful freedoms in America. It’s a blessing of being a citizen of this great nation. We enjoy another type of freedom as God’s children. We are freed from the bondage and captivity of sin and death, of guilt and eternal punishment. This freedom comes only from Christ, who proclaimed the healing message of forgiveness. As we focus on freedom during this month of our country’s birthday, let us remember the greater freedom we have as citizens of God’s kingdom!
HOPE FOR YEARS TO COME BRIDGE UPDATE
The BRIDGE Team invites all new members and those interested in learning more about Hope for Years to Come (the capital appeal) to a dinner presentation on Thursday, July 27th starting at 6:00pm. This event is FREE, but we will need a count for food. Please RSVP to the Church Office. Questions? Contact BRIDGE Leaders Andy Koffman or Philip Babler.
GIFT CARD COLLECTION FOR OUR NEW TEACHERS AND THEIR FAMILY
As a welcome gift for our new teachers Mrs. Emily Rodrigue and Mrs. Amanda Hering and their family, we will be collecting Scrip gift cards for them. We will be selling Scrip gift cards for this collection during the remaining Sundays in July and the first Sunday in August. We will then equally divide the collection and present the gift cards to them when they are installed on August 13. There is a wide variety of gift cards from which to choose. Here is a sampling of some of the cards available – Target, Shopko, Meijer, Roundy’s, Sendik’s, Home Depot, Menard’s, Piggly Wiggly, Culver’s, Pizza Hut, Papa Murphey’s and Papa John’s. When ordering Scrip, just let us know which cards are for this collection.
COLLEGE STUDENTS/FAMILIES
look for the College Roll Information Form in your box. Please complete and return to Tom Hering or the Church office as soon as possible, no later than Labor Day, if possible. If you are a college student and did not receive a form in your box there are additional forms on the table in back of church.

Ozaukee County WELS Booth at OZ County Fair
Like going to the fair? Like serving your Lord? You can do both by being a volunteer in the WELS booth at the Ozaukee County Fair. Our Savior is signed up to run the booth on Friday August 4th. Our booth is designed to familiarize people with the WELS Churches of Ozaukee County. We also hand out Bibles and literature that tells people the good news of their Savior. No training or experience is required. The booth is in the new, air-conditioned fairground building, so you don’t have to worry about sun or rain. You could come, spend a few hours in the booth, and then go out and enjoy the fair. We hope you can help! Look for the sign-up sheet. A Joint Ministry of the Ozaukee County WELS Churches.
