A PLANETARY ABOLITION – April 30 – May 28
Adult Sunday Morning Study at 9:15am. In today’s so-called “age of enlightenment” we need a determined discernment to defy deception. Social media and educational philosophy herd our young people into universal acceptance of lies. The “enemy who prowls around looking for someone to devour” has proposed that we are doomed to destroy ourselves by not concentrating on saving our own planet. Animals and apes (and maybe even robots) become more valuable than babies. Meanwhile, he tears at the fabric of morality by undermining authority, family, gender and true compassion. Instead of God we get “Gaia.” Instead of community we get selfishness. Instead of supportive family we get fracture. These propositions are, in fact, deceptions powerful enough to ruin our relationships, our lives, even our eternities— if we let them. However, God has granted us the truth and the saving grace of his Word to sustain and rule this planet, and perhaps more significantly, ourselves.

SCHOOL CLEANING – HELP NEEDED
There are many cleaning projects that need to get done this summer and there are many ways you can help. Come to one of our “work nights” and enjoy fellowship while we clean. Work nights are June 13, 26 and July 18, 26 from 6:00-8:00pm (any amount of time is appreciated). If days’ work better for you we will have two “work days” on Saturday, July 22 and August 19th from 8am until Noon. If you could sign up to help us plan that would be much appreciated. There are a few projects on the list that could be “adopted” for the summer by a family.
Contact Sarah Smith if you would like to pick up a list to work on or if you have any questions.
Open Forum
There will be an open forum between services on Sunday, June 11th to discuss major building repairs. All are invited to attend.
Traveling this Summer?
If you need help finding the location of a church during your travels, you can use the WELS Locator or contact us in the church office and we will be happy to help.
