Voters’ Meeting

There will be a voters meeting next Sunday the 29th with Elections.  The candidate list can be found on a table in the back of church.

Call Updates

Mr. and Mrs. Grulke have returned their Calls to teach in MN, and will continue teaching here at Our Savior.  Mrs. Emily Platzer has accepted her Call to teach at Our Savior for the 2018-2019 school year.

Keep Grafton Clean Day

For Keep Grafton Clean on Saturday, May 12th 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lime Kiln Park.  Our Savior Parent Teacher Friends (PTF) representatives will be meeting at Lime Kiln Park by 9:45 a.m. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and have fun while getting the opportunity to meet new people in your community! Assignments to various parts of the village will be handed out at Lime Kiln.  Gloves, garbage bags, and a snack will be provided.   All participants will receive a Free Day Pass to the Milwaukee County Zoo and the Grafton Family Aquatic Center!

HEARTS TO HANDS

Join Hearts to Hands Monday, April 23rd at 6:30 pm in the mezzanine of the school building.  All are welcome, beginners and experienced alike.  We have hooks. needles, and yarn to share.  Hope to see you there.

Our Savior School PTF meeting

All parents, grandparents, teachers, and friends of Our Savior are invited to the PTF meeting Come and learn about the PTF, discuss what things are coming up, offer any new ideas, and meet everyone.  The meeting will be held on Monday, April 23rd from   6:00 – 7:00 pm in the fellowship hall.  Childcare is available!

LWMS SPRING RALLY

Our members are invited to come and hear how Hannah Wendland’s Malawi mission impacted her.  The Spring Rally will  feature Hannah Wendland, her topic will be “Hannah’s Malawi Experience”.   Hannah’s father is missionary Robert Wendland, who returned from Malawi, in 2017. The Spring Rally will be April 28, 2018 at St. John’s Mequon, 1616 West Mequon Rd

Beauty and the Beast

For Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. by the students of Morning Star Lutheran School, Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 5 at 2 p.m. Our students will perform on the big stage at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, 3399 Division Road, Jackson. You won’t want to miss this special performance in KML’s beautiful Performing Arts Center! The students have been working hard, and now it is time to bring you their best and praise God for the musical and acting talents they are developing through this experience. Admission is free, and a free-will offering will be taken to help cover costs of costuming and scenery. Please invite your friends and family and “Be Our Guest!”

KML Quilt Show Dessert Donations Needed

KML is hosting the Rose of Sharon Quilt Show on Saturday and Sunday, May 5-6, from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Admission is $5 per person. The Charger Club will also be serving food and homemade desserts for purchase at the show’s Quilter’s Café. We have had wonderful volunteer support from our federation in the past and are counting on you once again! Dessert makers are needed! Please contact Mrs. Bliesner (262-617-8698; [email protected]) or Mrs. Stiemke [email protected] if you can help by making a delicious dessert torte, cheesecake, or another fancy cake (please no cookies, bars, or cupcakes) or if you have any questions. Profits from the café go directly to KML. Thank you for supporting KML in this way.

Fun and Fellowship

On Saturday, June 9, 2018, we will be going to The Fireside Theatre to see A Second Helping. With heartwarming humor and hilarious antics, the “Steel Magnolias of the Prairie” will take us from serving the high school students at the Luther League Banquet to a church sponsored Missionary Night and the rise and fall of a Viking’s Super Bowl Sunday. We will leave Christ Alone’s (south campus) parking lot at 3:15 pm and return by 11:30 pm. The cost per person is $85.00 which includes transportation, dinner, and the show.
