Music

Our Savior Lutheran School (OSLS) offers many opportunities for students to use their God-given talents to praise their Lord and Savior through music. Not only do K-8 students attend departmentalized music classes during the week, students may also further their vocal and instrumental studies in a variety of ways:
  • OSLS Junior Choir (grades 3-8)
  • Private piano and instrumental lessons through on-site instructors
  • Kettle Moraine Lutheran Grade School Band Program, which allows instrumental students in grades 5-8 to rehearse and perform formal concerts
  • Performance of the OSLS musical every two years
  • Sunday worship services, in which classrooms take turns using their voices together to praise God

Above all, Our Savior students are taught to worship the Lord through music whenever possible. Whether it’s the songs sung for daily devotion in each classroom, or the liturgical hymns of weekly chapel services, the words of Psalm 95:1 encourage the entire school:

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.”
