Who:
This VBS program is geared toward children going into Kindergarten – 5th grade. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors!
This year, we are blessed to have the talented SALT staff of Camp Phillip planning and running our VBS program. The week is sure to be full of fun games, songs, and activities for your child.
What:
This summer, the theme for Day Camp 2022 is Faith Ninjas. It is based on 1 Timothy 6:12a, “Fight the good fight of faith.” This theme examines how we want to fight for Christ, using all the different skills that we have been given through the Bible. We want to use all of our weapons, just like ninjas were known for their usage of all sorts of different techniques, taking advantage of every passage that Scripture gives us to fight for Christ against the devil and the evils of this world.
Day Camp will consist of:
- Adventure (mirrored after Camp Phillip’s team challenge courses)
- Bible Story
- Craft
- Recreation
- Snack
- Ninja Training
- Opening and Closing Assembly
- All camp game
What to Bring
While campers will be provided with a snack during VBS, we ask that you send a packed lunch with your child each day. Sun screen and a water bottle are also both recommended. Please label any belongings your child will be bringing to VBS.
