A Planetary Abolition – Sunday Bible Study – April 30 to May 28
Prayer Circle – April 30, 2017
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:6
We pray for the whole Christian church on earth as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior on Easter Day. Praise our resurrected Lord for defeating sin and death and Satan on our behalf. Thank God for the “new lease on life” that is our because Jesus rose from the grave. Ask that we experience the full joy of the Easter gospel not just today, but every day! (more…)

A PLANETARY ABOLITION – April 30 – May 28.
Adult Sunday Morning Study at 9:15am.
In today’s so-called “age of enlightenment” we need a determined discernment to defy deception. Social media and educational philosophy herd our young people into universal acceptance of lies. The “enemy who prowls around looking for someone to devour” has proposed that we are doomed to destroy ourselves by not concentrating on saving our own planet. Animals and apes (and maybe even robots) become more valuable than babies. Meanwhile, he tears at the fabric of morality by undermining authority, family, gender and true compassion.
Instead of God we get “Gaia.” Instead of community we get selfishness. Instead of supportive family we get fracture. These propositions are, in fact, deceptions powerful enough to ruin our relationships, our lives, even our eternities— if we let them. However, God has granted us the truth and the saving grace of his Word to sustain and rule this planet, and perhaps more significantly, ourselves. Child care will be provided for ages 0-3. Sunday School is available for all other ages. (more…)

From the Board of Stewardship
Christ’s death on the cross assures us of our salvation. Likewise, His resurrection assures us that we, too, will rise again. In 1 Corinthians 15:17 and 19, Paul writes,
“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile . . . If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.”
Certainly for the Christian, eternal life has begun already, and the passing from this life to the next is just a blip on the screen. In the confidence of such a sure hope, let us spend our time here in carrying on the work of Christ that the lost may be found and restored to their Savior.
