Church Picnic: August 25

Our church and school picnic will be held on Sunday, August 25th.  The picnic will begin immediately after the 10:30 worship service (approximately 11:45). No need to sign up to attend, but  if you wish to specify what you will be bringing to help ensure we have a good variety of dishes you can use the ‘food sign up’ link below.  A free will offering basket will be available for those that might be willing to help defray some of the cost of the event.  There will be a bounce house and games.  We hope you can come and enjoy the delicious food and fellowship!

Bake Sale Volunteers Needed

Our Savior Lutheran school is presenting the play, Alice @ Wonderland on Friday, April 19 @ 7:00 pm.  To coincide with this event, the Our Savior PTF will be hosting a Bake Sale before, during, and after the play–and we need YOUR HELP! 

All ages are invited to contribute their baking skills!  Please sign up to provide bake sale treats for the day of the play, which can include the following:

  • 1 or 2 dozen individual bake sale treats (cookies, brownies, bars, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc…be creative!)
  • 1 large item such as a whole pie, cheesecake, loaf of bread/quick bread, etc.
  • 1 or 2 dozen Gluten-sensitive treats
  • All items should arrive on the day of the event in a disposable or take-along container; please pre-cut and wrap bar-type treats such as brownies.
  • Please drop off items between 8am and 3:15pm at the school office.

Yee-Haw! Vacation Bible School (VBS): July 8-12

Giddy up! We’re taking this year’s VBS to the Wild West!  The theme passage is from Romans 12:11:

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

We’re ready to discover more about Jesus while we explore what it means to be excited about serving. This year’s theme “Yee-Haw!” complements all this enthusiasm!

Vacation Bible School 2023

Children having completed Kindergarten through 5th grade

Our Savior Lutheran Church & School in Grafton, WI (1332 Arrowhead Rd)

What:

FREE Vacation Bible School this summer!   Presented by Camp Phillip, this VBS takes on less the style of school and more the feeling of a fun-filled Day Camp.

This year’s theme “Up In The Air” is based on Colossians 3:2 – “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” The worries. The doubts. The fears. Certainly, our children’s minds get tired from these things! We look forward to discovering together how everything looks different when we’re thinking with a mindset from up there!

A few quick notes:

  • A morning snack related to the daily theme will be provided each day. (Those with food allergies, please bring a snack).
  • Lunch is NOT provided—please plan to send a lunch and reusable water bottle with your child(ren) each day.
  • All children attending must be able to use the restroom on their own.

Sign-up closes after June 15th. More information will be sent prior to the first day.

Please join us for our Early Childhood Education Event!

January 30, 2023 | 6:30pm

Here are a few highlights for the 2023-2024 School year:

  • PreK is available up to 5 days a week with wrap around care for the 2023-2024 school year.
  • 8:05 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. and wrap around care from 11:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m.
  • Before & After school care is available prior to 8:05 a.m. and after 3:15 p.m.
  • Meet the teachers, principal, and other parents.
  • Explore our Christian curriculum.
  • Receive important health and immunization information.
  • Come learn more about our strong Christian and academic program. Let us share our vision for your children’s future at Our Savior Lutheran, focusing on: Christian Faith – Christian Service – Christian Witness – Academic Readiness
