Women’s Online Bible Study: Enough for Now

The concept of “having enough” is one that is not often experienced. If I only had more money . . . more success . . . more time . . . then I would be fulfilled. Yet even when more is attained, it rarely satisfies. It is not “enough.”’

An eight-lesson women’s Bible study, Enough for Now explores the idea of “enough” through the study of Scripture—specifically the parable of the rich fool, personal stories, and practical exercises. Over the course of the lessons, women will discover how to escape the insatiable quest for more by finding their “enough” in God.

An eight-week series entitled “Enough for Now – Unpacking God’s Sufficiency,” taught by Andrea Semmann on Tuesday evenings from 8-9:30 pm, will begin April 14.

    Dear Friends,

May God give you great trust, always, in all circumstances. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart” (Proverbs 3:5).

PRAYER: Dear Lord, remind us every day of your presence, love and care. Keep us hopeful, courageous and thankful. Direct our hearts and minds to a Savior who traveled from palm branches to the cross so that we might journey each day in the certainty of your love. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

  • COVID-19 Update – March 27, 2020

Greetings in the name of Jesus,

During such uncertainty and change, we are truly blessed to know that God is changeless, his promises remain certain, and we continue to live in his care and love. “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 1:2)

Our congregational leaders continue to monitor the latest government recommendations and mandates, along with recommendations and practices from our WELS leaders and churches, while prayerfully making decisions for our congregation. Let us continue to pray for one another, that the Lord would grant us good health, patience and wisdom during these times. (more…)
