2019 Chili Cook Off

Friday, November 1, beginning at 6 pm

What

The Board of Stewardship welcomes all members and friends to help select the best chili!

If you would like to enter a pot of chili for the contest, please sign up on the sheet in the church entry way.  All who enter the contest should arrive with the chili by 5:40 pm.  Taste testing will begin shortly after 6 pm.

This is a family activity, so babysitting will not be provided. Come one, come all… and enjoy the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ!

Cost

FREE! Hot dogs, chips, chili and dessert will be provided for all who attend.

Creating a Congregational Outreach Culture

We welcome Pastor Eric Roecker – the WELS Director of Evangelism – as he leads us in a conversation about how we can create a culture of outreach here at Our Savior. You are invited to be part of this exciting and interactive event.

  • Help Our Savior develop plans to reach the lost in our community who so desperately need to know their Savior.
  • Assist Pastor Roecker as he refines this resource for eventual release synod-wide.

Our Savior Lutheran School Home-Made Pizza Sale

Delicious, home-made, fresh pizzas for sale! Sell to friends, family, co-workers, etc.  Money raised is used for a variety of non-budgeted items and events sponsored by the PTF.

Please help us reach our goal of 800 pizzas!

  • Take orders from now until Friday, November 2nd
  • Collect money as you sell. (Checks made payable to: “Our Savior PTF” )
  • NEW this year – for supporters who are not fond of pizza or have no freezer space, there is also an option to simply provide a monetary donation on the form.

IMPORTANT: All pizzas must be picked up on Saturday, November 17th, from noon – 1:00 p.m. We will not be able to store pizza orders. Pizzas are fresh, not frozen, but they freeze perfectly.

Volunteer

Don’t forget to sign up to help make pizzas on November 17th! Assembly and cleanup will be from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Please let us know if you can come for all or part of that time.  It is important for us to know for planning purposes.

The Board of Stewardship is pleased to invite all members and friends of Our Savior to the annual Chili Contest night. There is no need to sign up in order to attend. Simply join us!

If you would like to enter a pot of chili for the contest, please sign up on the sheet in the church entry way. (All who enter the contest should arrive with the chili by 5:40 pm.) Taste testing will begin shortly after 6 pm.  All who attend and are high school and older may serve as judges.

This is a family activity. Babysitting will not be provided. Come one, come all… and enjoy the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ!
